Multiple Ways to Find Schools
We at CityTownInfo have analyzed data on 7,000 US colleges, universities, and trade schools, located in approximately 2,000 cities and towns across the country. We have generated unique and detailed profiles of all of them, which you can access in a variety of ways:
- You can browse the school names alphabetically. To start doing this, click on a letter in the section below.
- You can see the colleges in any city or town, by navigating our site downwards from the state. For example, from our home page click on a state name, then click a city name, and then click on the Colleges link on the city page, to see the full list of colleges in that city or town. (For example, here is the list of colleges in Cambridge, MA.
- You can find a list of schools that match search criteria you specify (e.g., nursing schools in an urban setting in Florida). To search this way, use the College Search Scout™ tool on our main education page.
- You can start with the name of a school you like, and find others which are the most similar to your selected school. To search this way, use our CollegeMatch™ tool, also available on our main education page.

In any of our listings of colleges, you can click a link to reach a school's detailed profile page. Each profile is more than a list of data -- our profiles highlight where each school differs from the others according to our own statistical analysis and ranking techniques.
