- Northeast Community College: Established in 1973, Northeast Community College is located in Norfolk, Nebraska, and offers a number of two-year programs. Students are also prepared to take their Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam during the final semester of the course.

One of the Associate of Science degrees is the Surgical Technology program which is a 15-month program and is located on their Lincoln campus and is also available online. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
