Arizona graduate schools awarded over 729 graduate degrees from 19 colleges in 2008-2009. Phoenix, Tempe, Prescott, Glendale and Tucson have the greatest number of graduate schools in Arizona. Popular graduate degree programs include Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters in Nursing (MSN) and Masters in Public Health (MPH).
There are 11 business schools in Arizona that offer MBA programs. There are many types of MBA degrees including an MBA in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurial Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Technology Management. In addition to traditional Arizona business schools, students may now access graduate programs online. This is particularly important for students who do not have access to a program locally.
