Located in Alameda County, Fremont is a city of over 210,000 people according to 2005 US Census estimates. This is up less than 10,000 people from the 2000 census. Fremont is the fourth largest city in the San Francisco Bay area. It is located in the southeastern Bay area, approximately forty-five minutes southeast of San Francisco, and 30 minutes southeast of Oakland.
