Glendale Introduction
Located in Southern California, the City of Glendale is the third largest city in in Los Angeles County. As of the 2005 census, Glendale's population was just over 194,000 people, essentially unchanged from the 2000 census. In addition, 21 GUSD schools have earned "Distinguished School Awards" from the California School Recognition Program.
There are also many private schools in Glendale, including: Chamlian Armenian School, Holy Family High School and Glendale Adventist Academy. Glendale is also home to Glendale Community College, one of California's largest two-year colleges.
