Clearwater Introduction
Part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area, Clearwater is a city in Pinellas County on Florida's central west coast. It is 35 minutes east of Tampa, and 30 minutes northwest of St. Petersburg. It is conveniently located near several main roads including 19, 580, and the Gulf to Bay Boulevard.
Clearwater Neighborhoods
Starting in 2006, Clearwater has instituted a Clearwater Awards for Neighborhoods program to reward neighborhoods for implementing "winning" programs in neighborhood improvement. The first awards will be given in September of 2007. The most recent neighborhood to win "Neighborhood of the Quarter" honors is the Harbor Oaks Neighborhood.
