Rockledge History
Rockledge was founded on August 7, 1887 and is the oldest incorporated municipality in Brevard County. Previously, the economy of this area was based on the citrus trade and accommodation for tourists traveling to South Florida. Presently, it also focuses greatly on technology and aerospace.
