Hailey, Idaho is located 95 miles E of Boise, Idaho (center to center) and 434 miles E of Portland, Oregon. It is in Blaine County. The population of the city is approximately 6,200.

Hailey History

The city of Hailey is named in honor of John Hailey, who was a two - time Congressional delegate from the Idaho Territory. The city is in Blaine County. In 1895, this county was established by the Idaho Legislature, by merging Logan and Alturas Counties. Blaine County was named in honor of James G. Blaine, the U.S. Congressman and the 1884 Republican presidential nominee.
