Kuna, Idaho, in Ada county, is located 7 miles SE of Nampa, Idaho (center to center) and 339 miles SE of Portland, Oregon. The city benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Boise City metropolitan area. Kuna has a population of approximately 5,382.
Kuna History
Kuna is located in the Ada County, which was established on December 22, 1864 by the Idaho Territorial Legislature. This county was named in honor of Ada Riggs, who was the first child to be born in this area. She was the daughter of H. C. Riggs, a co-founder of Boise.
