Beach Park, Illinois, in Lake county, is 4 miles N of Waukegan, Illinois, and 40 miles N of Chicago, Illinois. The village is part of the Chicago metropolitan statistical area. About 10,072 people live in Beach Park.
Beach Park History
The foundation stones for Beach Park were laid in 1908, when a train station opened in the vicinity. In 1928, the name was changed to Beach Station. In 1989 the village was officially incorporated.
