Metamora, Illinois, in Woodford county, is 13 miles NE of Peoria, Illinois (center to center) and 115 miles SW of Chicago, Illinois. The village benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Peoria - Pekin metropolitan area. Metamora contains a population of approximately 2,700.
