Pinckneyville History

Pinckneyville is the county seat of the Perry county. It is named in honor of Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, who was an American diplomat. Perry County was established in 1827 and today provides various public sector jobs as well as a number of recreational facilities to its citizens.
