Peosta, Iowa, in Dubuque county, is 10 miles W of Dubuque, Iowa (center to center) and 155 miles W of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The city is included in the Dubuque metropolitan area. As of the year 2000 census, 651 people lived in Peosta.
