Coffeyville, Kansas is located 64 miles N of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is located in Montgomery county and has a population of 11,021 residents.
Coffeyville History
Coffeyville was named after James A. Coffey who was one of the early settlers of the area. It was founded in 1869 as a trading post. It began to grow after the Leavenworth, Lawrence & Galveston Railroad arrived in 1871. Coffeyville was incorporated in March 1873.

Tourists can visit the Tom Mix Museum and the Independence Historical museum. The Ralph Mitchell Zoo and Riverside Park area also apt for a family day out. You can even check out the Eight Street Shopping Center and the Fourth Street Shopping Center. The city hosts the festivals of Dalton Defender Days in evey October. Other special programs like the Inter - State Fair & Rodeo and the Inter - Tribal Pow - Wow are also organized by the city every year.
