Clinton, Massachusetts, in Worcester county, is 12 miles NE of Worcester, Massachusetts and 32 miles W of Boston, Massachusetts. The town is considered part of the Worcester metropolitan area. Clinton has a population of 13,435.

Clinton History

The Wachusett Reservoir, which was built by damming the Nashua River in 1905, contributed heavily to the development of Clinton. The potential for abundant water power in the city led to the growth of textile mills. It also attracted people from a wide variety of ethnicities to work in those mills. It was incorporated as a town in 1850.
