Andover, Minnesota, in Anoka county, is 7 miles N of Coon Rapids, Minnesota (center to center) and 17 miles N of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The city is included in the Minneapolis - Saint Paul metropolitan area. As of the year 2000 census, 26,588 people lived in Andover.
