Circle Pines, Minnesota, in Anoka county, is 6 miles E of Coon Rapids, Minnesota (center to center) and 12 miles NE of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The city is included in the Minneapolis - Saint Paul metropolitan area. As of the year 2000 census, 4,663 people lived in Circle Pines.
