Ramsey, Minnesota, in Anoka county, is 11 miles NW of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota (center to center) and 20 miles NW of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The city is considered part of the Minneapolis - Saint Paul metropolitan area. Ramsey has a population of 18,510.
In Ramsey, about 72% of adults are married. Ramsey is considered a city for married couples and families. Households are larger than most, which is consistent with the family emphasis of the city.
