The city benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Saint Louis metropolitan area. Berkeley contains a population of approximately 10,063.

Berkeley History

The city of Berkeley is located in the Saint Louis County. Members of the Huichin tribe were the early settlers of this area. They inhabited the region till the late 18th century when the Europeans took over the place. The city of Berkeley was created as a result of the merger of two different communities which came together in 1878. It was in the late 19th century that the city experienced rapid development due to the construction of railroads and educational centers.
