Dellwood, Missouri, in St. Louis county, is located 3 miles SE of Florissant, Missouri (center to center) and is 8 miles N of St. Louis, Missouri. Part of the surrounding Saint Louis metro area; the city is not an isolated city. Dellwood is home to approximately 5,255 residents.
Dellwood History
The city of Dellwood is located in Saint Louis County, which was established in 1812. The city neighborhood was mostly inhabited by the mound builders of Mississippi in the early 17th century. It was after the year 1673, the French explorers started settling in the area. Development began soon after that.

Filled with attractive locations and historic sites, the city of Dellwood is an ideal tourist destination. While in the city, tourists can visit the Castlewood State Park and Frank Holten State Recreation Area, which offer several facilities such as swimming, camping, fishing, picnicking and boating. The Historic Site of Scott Joplin House is also worth visiting. Jefferson Barracks Historical Park and the Missouri Historical Society Museum are two other major tourist attractions.
