Chester, New Hampshire, in Rockingham county, is 10 miles E of Manchester, New Hampshire (center to center) and 42 miles N of Boston, Massachusetts. The town benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Lawrence metropolitan area. Chester contains a population of approximately 3,792.
