Chester, New Jersey, in Morris county, is 15 miles W of Parsippany, New Jersey (center to center) and 27 miles W of Newark, New Jersey. The town benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Newark metropolitan area. Chester contains a population of approximately 1,635.
