Lincoln Park, New Jersey, in Morris county, is 1 mile W of Wayne, New Jersey and 14 miles NW of Newark, New Jersey. The people of the town are in the Newark metropolitan area. Lincoln Park has a population of 10,930.

Lincoln Park History

Lincoln Park was formed on land taken from Pequannock Township. It was officially incorporated as a borough for the first time in March of 1922. It was incorporated again in February 1925. The name of the borough was kept in the honor of President Abraham Lincoln.
