Mendham, New Jersey, in Morris County, is 10 miles SW of Parsippany, New Jersey and 22 miles W of Newark, New Jersey. As of the year 2000 census, 5,097 people lived in Mendham.

Mendham History

Mendham was created as a new governmental entity on March 29, 1749. It was carved out of Morris Township, Hanover Township and Rockaway Township. On February 21, 1798, Mendham was incorporated as a township, and on May 15, 1906, it became a borough.
