New York graduate schools awarded over 5774 graduate degrees from 168 colleges in 2008-2009. New York, Brooklyn, Rochester, Albany and Bronx have the greatest number of graduate schools in New York. Popular graduate degree programs include Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters in Nursing (MSN) and Masters in Public Health (MPH).

There are 89 business schools in New York that offer MBA programs.
