Miller Place History

Miller Place has been inhabited for over five hundred years. Though there are no historical records about the original settlers in the area, it is said that the Miller Family purchased land in this area during late 1670s and was influential in its development. Through most of its history, Miller Place was an agricultural society, but it has evolved into a densely populated suburban area in recent decades.
