Mount Kisco History

Mount Kisco, which is actually a town and a village belonging to Westchester County, New York, was incorporated as a village in 1875. In 1978, this village joined other villages in the state to form the Town of Mount Kisco. Westchester County was inhabited by Native Americans, known as the Lenape, before the Europeans arrived in the 1600s.
