Sherman, New York, in Chautauqua county, is 25 miles E of Erie, Pennsylvania (center to center) and 62 miles SW of Buffalo, New York. The village benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Jamestown metropolitan area. Sherman contains a population of approximately 714.
