Ohio graduate schools awarded over 3826 graduate degrees from 71 colleges in 2008-2009. Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton and Wilberforce have the greatest number of graduate schools in Ohio. Popular graduate degree programs include Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters in Nursing (MSN) and Masters in Public Health (MPH).

There are 59 business schools in Ohio that offer MBA programs. There are many types of MBA degrees including an MBA in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurial Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Technology Management. In addition to traditional Ohio business schools, students may now access graduate programs online. This is particularly important for students who do not have access to a program locally.
