Mount Healthy History

Mount Healthy, which became a village in 1817, was originally called Mount Pleasant, but after a cholera epidemic, which most of its citizens survived, the village was renamed Mount Healthy in 1850. Mount Healthy was officially incorporated as a city in 1951.
