Anadarko, Oklahoma, in Caddo county, is 33 miles N of Lawton, Oklahoma and 49 miles SW of Oklahoma City Oklahoma. The city is home to some 6,645 residents.

Anadarko History

Anadarko is located in Caddo County. In 1901, the community of Anadarko came into existence. The community got its name from ‘Na-da-ka,' which is an Indian tribal name.

The city hosts many annual festivals, including the Caddo County Free Fair and the American Indian Exposition, both of which are held every August.
