Downingtown, Pennsylvania, in Chester county, is 19 miles NW of Wilmington, Delaware (center to center) and 28 miles W of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The town benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Downingtown contains a population of approximately 7,589.
