Hanahan History

The city of Hanahan is situated in Berkeley County, which was founded in 1682. The region's population was estimated at 13,818 from the 2005 census. The CSX Railroad has a main north-south track which runs through Hanahan's west city limit. The region was incorporated as a city in the year 1972.
