Texas graduate schools awarded over 4215 graduate degrees from 84 colleges in 2008-2009. Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Fort Worth have the greatest number of graduate schools in Texas. Popular graduate degree programs include Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters in Nursing (MSN) and Masters in Public Health (MPH).

There are 70 business schools in Texas that offer MBA programs.
