Cornell, Wisconsin, in Chippewa county, is 30 miles NE of Eau Claire, Wisconsin (center to center) and 96 miles E of St. Paul, Minnesota. The city is included in the Eau Claire metropolitan area. As of the year 2000 census, 1,466 people lived in Cornell.
