North Prairie, Wisconsin, in Waukesha county, is 10 miles SW of Waukesha, Wisconsin (center to center) and 26 miles W of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Part of the surrounding Milwaukee - Waukesha metro area, the village is not an isolated village. North Prairie is home to some 1,571 residents.
