Twin Lakes, Wisconsin is 22 miles W of Kenosha, Wisconsin and 39 miles SW of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is in Kenosha County. The population of the village is 5,124.
Twin Lakes History
Twin Lakes was originally home to various Native American tribes. It was given its name because of its location on the Elizabeth and Mary lakes, which are known as the twin lakes. The first large hotel in the area was built in 1835, and the first school of Twin Lakes was established in 1904. The village was officially incorporated in 1937.

The Volo Bog State Natural Area, Big Foot Beach State Park and the Moraine Hills State Park are also popular local attractions.
