Overview of Academy of Healing Arts
The Academy of Healing Arts is a Las Vegas career-training school dedicated to providing students with the skills needed for rewarding careers in the Health Care Industry. Founded in 2002, the Academy is situated in a new campus located in the heart of the Las Vegas medical district, directly across from the University Medical Center hospital. Completely focused on the Las Vegas area, the Academy provides personalized hands-on training which leads to entry-level employment in the medical industry as well as career advancement opportunities.

Areas of Study
The Academy offers training programs leading to diplomas in the fields of Medical Assistant, Medical Office Information Technology, and Massage Therapist. The medical assistant program includes phlebotomy and EKG and is designed to train the student to work with doctors in the examination and treatment of patients. The medical office information technology program trains students to manage electronic information within a medical office and to assist others with emerging technologies. The massage therapy program, which includes a blend of classroom and hands-on practicum training, prepares students to work in multiple areas of massage therapy, including sports medicine, clinics, health spas, salons, athletic clubs, hotels and cruise lines.

The enrollment process can be initiated by a call or email to the Academy. Its staff will personally show the applicant how easy it is to get started, and will walk him/her through the process from start to finish.

Academy of Healing Arts Student Life
The Academy is housed in a new, state of the art two-story medical building comprised of approximately eleven classrooms and including a medical training laboratory, massage teaching clinic, computer laboratory learning resource center, lecture classrooms, and a Career Center. The Academy’s Student Services Coordinator actively assists students in locating appropriate housing.
