AIB College of Business was established as the American Institute of Business in 1921. Founded by Everett O. Fenton and Ray Hansen, the college received its current name in 2000. This non-profit, independent, coeducational college sits on a 20-acre campus in Des Moines, Iowa. In addition to this campus, the college operates additional campuses in Panora, Urbandale, and East Des Moines, Iowa.

AIB College of Business awards Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. Students can choose from courses in subjects like accounting, business administration, general education, information technology, court reporting, and travel and hospitality management.
