Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute is a community college situated in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accredited TVI in the year 1978 and the New Mexico Legislature allowed the school to start offering degrees in 1986.
Today, TVI provides the chief distance learning program in the state and one of the largest in the country with over 225 credit courses. The institute changed its name to Central New Mexico Community College or CNM on June 2, 2006.
The institute has four branch locations in Albuquerque, with land totaling over 215,259 square feet of classroom and 262,507 square feet of laboratory area. The branches are Main Campus, Montoya Campus, CNM Westside and South Valley Campus.
