Allan Hancock College

Allan Hancock College or AHC is a California public community college located in Santa Maria in northern Santa Barbara County.

Approximately 11,000 credit and more than 5,500 noncredit and community services students enroll in AHC each semester. The college has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal support.

The athletic program at Allan Hancock College consists of a combined 16 men’s and women’s varsity sport teams and it includes:

  • Men’s and women’s cross country
  • Men’s and women's golf
  • Men’s and women’s soccer
  • Softball, men’s and women’s tennis
  • Men’s and women’s track and field and women’s volleyball

The sports teams of AHC are known as the ‘Bulldogs’.
