Alvin Community College, ACC, is a two-year, public, comprehensive community college. Located in Alvin, Texas and founded in 1948, the college currently boasts an enrollment of more than 4,000 students each year. ACC offers a wide variety of professional programs and majors in diverse areas of study. It also provides transfer courses leading to four-year degree programs as well as distance learning opportunities through online courses.

ACC’s diverse student body participates in various team sports offered by the college. The students participate in several indoor and outdoor sports including baseball and softball, and recreational sports such as racquetball, tennis, jogging, soccer, and table tennis. ACC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and their sports teams are known as the Dolphins.
