American Sentinel University (ASU) is a private distance-learning institution which offers a variety of online degree programs for working professionals. The school was originally founded in 2006 through the merger of Sentinel University, the American College of Computer & Information Science (ACCIS), and American Graduate School of Management (AGSM). Although ASU is a completely online school, their business offices are currently headquartered in Aurora, Colorado. Online programs include concentrations in nursing and health care management. Students may earn associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degrees upon program completion.

New students are offered the opportunity to complete a self-directed, one-month orientation course. Technical support and advising is provided throughout the student's enrollment.
