Anderson University, or AU, is a private university located in Anderson, South Carolina. The university was chartered in 1911, and became a coeducational institution in 1930. The campus is spread across an area of 193 acres. Anderson University offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in various areas of study. The university offers study through the following academic divisions:

The athletics teams of Anderson University are known as the Trojans. Both the men and women players take part in sports including basketball, tennis, golf, cross country, and soccer. Apart from this, the students publish a newspaper called the "Andersonian". They are also involved in several on-campus clubs and organizations like the International Student Association, and Multicultural Students Association.
