Anderson University, also referred to as AU, is located in Anderson, Indiana, United States. It was established in 1917 by the Church of God movement. Formerly, this university was known as the Anderson Bible Training School. The degree-granting academic schools and colleges of the university are:
The men's sports teams of AU participate in basketball, baseball, track and field, football, cross country, golf, soccer and tennis. The women’s sports teams participate in sports such as track and field, cross country, golf, soccer, basketball, softball and volleyball. The university's athletic teams are nicknamed the Ravens.
