Anne Arundel Community College

The Anne Arundel Community College was established in 1961 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Annapolis, as well as the Naval Academy, is very near to the campus. The college is often referred to as AACC. It is spread out over an area of 230 acres and offers a wide variety of courses for people of all ages.

AACC has won a number of awards over the years. The National Business Alliance recognized it as the “Community College of the Year” in 2000. AACC has the following schools within the campus:

  • School of Arts and Sciences
  • School of Business, Computing and Technical Studies
  • School of Health Professions, Wellness and Physical Education
  • School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

AACC’s sports team is known as ‘Pioneers’.
