Overview of Apollo College
Apollo College was founded in 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona and opened a second campus (Westside) in the same city in 1995. Since that time, the college has expanded to a total of 9 campus sites located throughout the western United States. In addition to the two Phoenix sites, Apollo also has campuses located in Arizona (Mesa, Tucson), New Mexico (Albuquerque), Nevada (Las Vegas), Washington (Spokane), Oregon (Portland), and Idaho (Boise). The College has long offered degree and diploma programs in health care, dental, and veterinary career fields. More recently, the institution has introduced degree and certificate programs in the rapidly expanding field of information technology.

Areas of Study
Programs of study at Apollo College include a wide variety of specialties in the medical and dental fields, as well as Associate of Applied Science degree programs and certificate programs in Software Engineering and in Network and Database Administration. Depending on the course of study, programs can be completed within two months to two years.

Applications for admission to Apollo College can be obtained by phone or online, although prospective students are encouraged to visit the College and get a campus tour from an admissions representative. A high school diploma or equivalency is required for admission.

With nine campuses spread across six states, Apollo's total enrollment stands at over 4,000 students. The main campus in Phoenix boasts a full-time enrollment of well over 500.
Apollo College Student Life
The main campus in Phoenix consists of two freestanding buildings, an administrative area, and a beautiful courtyard. It is easily accessible by bus and is surrounded by several apartment complexes ideal for housing students. The school's Westside Campus in Phoenix is convenient to the Black Canyon Freeway, and features affordable housing located within walking distance of the campus.
