Founded in 1965, Arapahoe Community College or ACC was the first community college to open in the Denver area. It enrolls around 20,000 credit and non-credit students annually. ACC is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
ACC comprises two convenient campuses, the main Campus in Littleton and a Douglas County campus. The academic divisions of the college include Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health, Math, Business and Professional Services, Science and Engineering and Police Academy.
The institution has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal support.
