Arizona Western College

Arizona Western College was founded in 1963. The college is located in Yuma, Arizona. In addition to its main campus, the college also has a branch campus in Yuma. AWC has several other learning centers located in Somerton, Parker, San Luis and Wellton. The college offers more than 90 degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study.

AWC is organized into numerous academic divisions. Some of these are the administration of justice, business entrepreneur, environmental sciences, hotel restaurant management, computer information systems and marketing & management.

The scholarship programs offered by AWC are the AWC Foundation Scholarships, AWC Institutional Scholarships, Mensa Education and Research Foundation Scholarship Program, and many more.

AWC sponsors various sports programs, such as baseball, football, basketball and soccer teams. Its teams are nicknamed the Matadors.
