Arkansas State University-Newport, or ASUN, is a branch of the Arkansas State University System. It was initially known as the White River Vocational Technical School which was merged with the Arkansas State University-Beebe in 1991. A year later, it became the ASU-Beebe/Newport which was later named Arkansas State University-Newport. It is located in Newport, Arkansas.

Arkansas State University-Newport offers two-year associate’s degrees in arts, science, and applied science. Various certificate of general studies, technical certificates, and certificates of proficiency programs are also available.

The students of ASUN participate in intramural sports including softball, ping pong, and basketball. The institute also hosts organizations including the Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government Association, and PEM Club.
